A perfect day on the farm with the family.
Start your day off at Rusted Gate (4) where you can pick your own flowers, listen to live music, and shop for seasonal produce, baked goods, meat, jams, and other local goods. Kids can enjoy painting, microscopes, sensory pools, and lawn games.
Next, head to SOHS Hanley Farm (5) where there’s fun for the whole family. Take part in a Living History Adventure Walk and meet historic characters from 1876. Kids can immerse themselves in the world of the Hanley Family with pioneer era children’s games and free pioneer hats.
For lunch and some afternoon fun, drive over to Sunflower Farm on Arpeggio Vineyard (9) where kids can enjoy arts and crafts stations, independent free play, and pollinator activities with the Pollinator Project Rogue Valley. Grab a meal made with farm fresh ingredients and a glass of wine. Relax in the shade and enjoy live music from 3:30-5:30pm. Open until 6:00pm.

Learn about pollinators and how essential they are for many of the agricultural crops we depend on.
Begin your day at Wild Bee Honey Farm (3), a heritage apiary and processing facility. Get an up-close demonstration of their beeswax candle making process. Kids can participate in their own candle rolling activities. Bee sure to take a peek at their processing facility and browse their farm stand for fresh, local honey and other bee-themed products.
Next, head west to Itty Bitty Acres (1), to explore their farm filled with flowers, honey bees, produce, and chickens. Enjoy activities for all ages, farm-fresh breakfast and lunch options, and don’t miss the guided hayride tours - offered on the hour, every hour.
Finish your day at Dos Mariposas Vineyard & Lavender Farm (7), a family-friendly vineyard and lavender farm, where you can stroll through rows of gorgeous lavender while harvesting your own bundles and watch an essential oil distillation demonstration. Afterwards, enjoy live music and dinner by the pond with a glass of wine. Take a piece of Dos Mariposas home with you - pick up some of their lavender essential oils or lotions available for purchase in the Tasting Room. Dos Mariposas is open until 7:00pm so you can extend your Farm Tour experience!

Explore local historic working farms.
Start your day at the historic Hanley Farm (5), established in 1857 and now owned and operated by the Southern Oregon Historical Society. Step back in time to the 1870s and meet historic characters from Hanley’s past, enjoy 19th century children’s games, and immerse yourself in what the Rogue Valley was like way back when. Guided Living History Adventure Walk tours will be offered every 20 minutes.
As lunch time approaches, head east to Dunbar Farms (6), a fourth generation Century Farm producing organic produce, stone-milled flours, grains, grass hay and award-winning wines. Feed the horses and cows in the pasture, and enjoy lawn games and live music. Visit the tasting room to learn the history of the farm, enjoy a tasting, and purchase lunch and a glass of wine. Open late until 6:00pm.
End your day at Plaisance Ranch (14) in the Applegate Valley, and if time allows, visit another nearby farm on your way there. A working ranch since 1858, Plaisance is run by third-generation wine grape growers and ranchers, Joe and Suzi Ginet. This regenerative ranch is dedicated to raising beef cattle that graze on native grass hay from pastures that have never been plowed. They treat their grape vines with that same organic integrity. Enjoy a grass-fed burger or hot dog for dinner along with award-winning wines. Open late until 6:00pm.

A fun and educational day for new and seasoned gardeners.
Start your day at Goodwin Creek Gardens (16), where you can browse herbs, lavender, native plants, and take some home to plant in your own garden.
From there, take Cedar Flat Road to Williams Highway and stop at Good Life Farm (15). At this regenerative and sustainable flower farm, you can learn about germinating seeds, irrigation, fertilizers, compost, and cover-cropping.
Next, head to Siskiyou Seeds (17), a bio-regional seed hub producing open-pollinated and heirloom seeds. Enjoy a tour of this expansive permaculture food forest and discover unique varieties of vegetables, flowers, herbs, grains, and more. Purchase seeds for your home garden.

Taste and experience farms from the Sams Valley to the Applegate Valley.
Start the ultimate foodie adventure at Itty Bitty Acres (1) where you can shop their farm stand with seasonal produce, eggs, canned goods, and honey. Take a guided hayride tour of the property, offered every hour on the hour. Afterwards, grab some breakfast or lunch and listen to live music! Open until 5:00pm.
Head south into Medford to visit Evers Ridge Farm (8) - a new stop on the tour this year! A no-spray fruit and nut orchard with 500 laying hens enjoying constant open space through the orchards. Take a guided tour to learn about large scale worm composting, the orchards, and rotating chicken enclosures (see brochure for tour times).
Finally, head out to the Applegate Valley to visit Whistling Duck Farm (13) in Grants Pass. This certified organic farm also houses a natural foods store and kitchen. The farm grows a wide variety of vegetables, fruit, and seed crops, including gourmet seed garlic. Take a guided tour offered every hour, on the hour. Their kitchen produces fermented foods, artisan seasoning blends, and more. Visit the farm store to try some free samples and purchase what you love to bring home with you! Open until 4:00pm.

Scoop up your besties, grab some coffee, and hit the road for a girls day out visiting local farms!
Start off your day at Sanctuary One (19) and take some beautiful photos with your besties and the rescued animals at this working care farm. Experience the healing power of nature, connect with the animals, and learn about sustainable farming and permaculture practices.Next, head to Blossom Barn Cidery (12). Opened in 2023, this family farm focuses on making heritage perries, which are hard ciders made exclusively from pears. Visit the tasting room and sample a cider and meet the donkeys featured on our brochure cover!
The final stop for the day is at Plaisance Ranch (14). Even though the Farm Tour technically ends at 3pm be sure to check each individual farm listing because several of them are open later! Plaisance is the perfect end to a beautiful day. This certified organic ranch produces 100% grass-fed beef and award-winning old world style wines. Enjoy wine tasting, guided tours, and burgers and hot dogs available for purchase. Open until 6pm!
