A perfect day in the Applegate Valley for the whole family.
Start your day off at Mama Bees Flower Farm (21) where you can pick your own flower bouquet while you tour the property, which includes private river access. Explore handmade goods to take home, and kids can plant their own sunflowers.
Next, head to Blossom Barn Cidery (22) where there’s fun for the whole family. Take a hayride tour through the pear orchard and tour the old barn. Adults can enjoy delicious perry ciders and there’s pear juice for the kids.
For lunch and some afternoon fun, drive over to Salant Family Ranch (30) where kids can meet ponies, and the whole family can enjoy free burgers. Guided tours available upon request.

Learn about pollinators and how essential they are for many of the agricultural crops we depend on.
Begin your day at Wild Bee Honey Farm (7), a heritage apiary and processing facility. Get an up-close demonstration of their beeswax candle making process – kids can also participate in their own candle rolling activities. Bee sure to take a peek at their processing facility and browse their farm store for fresh, local honey and other bee-themed products.
Next, head west to Itty Bitty Acres (4), to explore their orchard, flowers, honey bees, produce, and chickens. Enjoy activities for all ages, farm-fresh meals, and don’t miss the guided hayride tours - offered on the hour, every hour. Plus live music!
Finish your day at Dos Mariposas Vineyard & Lavender Farm (13), a family-friendly vineyard and lavender farm, where you can stroll through rows of gorgeous lavender while harvesting your own bundles and watch an essential oil distillation demonstration. Afterwards, enjoy live music by the pond with a glass of wine and dinner from a local food truck. Take a piece of Dos Mariposas home with you - pick up some of their lavender essential oils or lotions available for purchase in the Tasting Room. Dos Mariposas is open until 7pm so you can extend your Farm Tour experience!

Explore local historic working farms.
Start your day at the historic Hanley Farm (11), established in 1857 and now owned and operated by the Southern Oregon Historical Society. Step back in time to the 1870s and meet historic characters from Hanley’s past, enjoy 19th century children’s games, and immerse yourself in what the Rogue Valley was like way back when. Guided tours will be offered every 20 minutes.
As lunch time approaches, head east to Dunbar Farms (12), a fourth generation Century Farm producing organic produce, stone-milled flours, grains, grass hay and award-winning wines. Feed the horses and cows in the pasture, and enjoy lawn games and live music. Visit the tasting room to explore the history of the farm, enjoy a tasting, and purchase lunch and a glass of wine. Open late until 6pm.
End your day at Plaisance Ranch (24) in the Applegate Valley, and if time allows, visit another nearby farm on your way there. A working ranch since 1858, Plaisance is run by third-generation wine grape growers and ranchers, Joe and Suzi Ginet. This regenerative ranch features 157 USDA certified organic acres dedicated to raising beef cattle that graze on native grass hay from pastures that have never been plowed. They treat their grape vines with that same organic integrity. Enjoy a grass-fed burger or hot dog for dinner along with award-winning wines. Open late until 6pm with live music.

A fun and educational day for new and seasoned gardeners.
Start your day at Goodwin Creek Gardens (27), where you can browse herbs, lavender, native plants, and take some home to plant in your own garden.
From there, take Cedar Flat Road to Williams Highway and stop at Good Life Farm (25). At this regenerative and sustainable flower farm, you can learn how to garden without synthetic fertilizers or pesticides.
Next, head to Shooting Star Nursery (10). This ornamental plant nursery specializes in drought tolerance and deer-resistant plants. You can also stop by the Cascade Girl booth for a refreshing glass of honey lemonade.
If you have the time and energy, head to Garden Girl Farm (14). This permaculture haven features a nutrient-dense food forest, as well as an elderberry and medicinal orchard. This is a great spot to pick up some seed and plant starts, say hello to Pollinator Project Rogue Valley, and learn about native pollinators.

Taste and experience farms from Rogue River to Grants Pass to Ashland.
Wake up and smell the lavender! If you haven’t had the chance to visit Lavender Ally Farm (3), this is a great place to start. You’ll have an opportunity to pick your own lavender for the day - take it home to make tea, lemonade, or sprinkle on your favorite sugar cookie recipe.
In Grants Pass, stop by Bella Lynn Blueberries (2) – a new stop on the tour this year! A bakery and micro dairy farm, Bella Lynn has blueberries, cow and goat milk, and as well as a variety of handmade goodies. Enjoy a self-guided tour, pick blueberries for your own future culinary delights, and indulge in their free samples.
All the foodies know the Rogue Valley is famous for its Rogue River Blue from Rogue Creamery - take a mid-day visit to see where the cheese mastery begins - the Rogue Creamery Dairy and Farm Stand (1). You’ll get to see the dairy farm and tour the state of the art milking system that’s behind making the world famous, organic, handmade cheese we all love. There will be cheese to taste, of course.
Once you’ve had your cheese fill, if that’s even possible — jump on the interstate and head south to Uproot Meats (19) in Ashland. This solar-powered meat operation produces slow grown, dry land heritage pork and chicken. Learn about nose to tail utilization of pork cuts and enjoy free samples during workshops. Depending on what time of day you arrive, farm fresh breakfast burritos or a pig roast lunch await you. Farm goods are available for purchase for your future meals. Uproot Meats is open until 10pm – this is where you’ll find the after-party!

Scoop up your besties, grab some coffee, and hit the road for a girls day out visiting local farms!
First stop is Blossom Barn Cidery (21). Opened in 2023, this solar-powered family farm focuses on making heritage perries, which are hard ciders made exclusively from pears. Visit the tasting room and sample a cider and plan your next visit because you’ll definitely want to come back.
Next, you’re off to Troon Vineyard (22) which is only a couple of minutes a way. Troon Vineyard is a treat! This Biodynamic and Regenerative Organic certified vineyard boasts delicious wines, and will be offering guided tours at 10am, 12pm and 2pm.
Whistling Duck Farm and Store (24) is a short hop south and then north again and it’s the perfect place to grab lunch or a snack. Bring a cooler and stock up on produce fresh from the fields, delicious ferments and prepared foods, and many local and regional natural foods and goods at the Farm Store, located in the Big Red Barn.
The final stop for the day is less than 10 minutes away at Plaisance Ranch (25). Even though the Farm Tour technically ends at 3pm be sure to check each individual farm listing because several of them are open later! Plaisance is the perfect end to a beautiful day. This certified organic ranch produces 100% grass-fed beef and award-winning old world style wines. Enjoy wine tasting, guided tours, burgers and hot dogs available for purchase, and live music until 6pm!
